Despite the arrival of newer models, we still firmly believe the EcoFlow DELTA Pro remains a strong contender in 2024. Here’s why:

Sure, the newer models offer some flashy new features, but with each new release, the price of the DELTA Pro has decreased significantly. This makes it a cost-effective option for those seeking simple and reliable backup power. Currently priced around $2,500, it offers substantial savings compared to its successors and competitors.

Sure, if you desperately need a power station and you have the budget for it, why not get the latest option and all of the features that come with that? On the other hand, if you just need basic backup power, or you’re on a tight budget, you can save yourself some serious cash by picking up the original DELTA Pro. Use those savings for solar panels, expansion batteries, or whatever else you want to spend your hard-earned money on.
The Features:
Many of the features that made the DELTA Pro revolutionary—such as its impressive output power, multiple charging options, and expandability—are still relevant and useful today. In many ways, EcoFlow nailed all of the average person’s primary power station needs with the DELTA Pro. More recent models have some interesting and convenient features, and they’re more powerful, but the original just does everything you need it to do reasonably well.
Durability and Longevity:
The durable lithium iron phosphate battery ensures long-term usability, providing value over time. Plus, the unit itself is a bit of a tank. There is a reason why people who bought the DELTA Pro back in 2021 are still using it – it just works.
Comparisons with Newer Models and Competitors
The DELTA Pro ULTRA and the DELTA Pro 3:

With that said, if you need serious backup power, the DELTA Pro ULTRA’s 6kWh battery and ability to be paired with batteries for a mild-blowing total storage capacity of 90kWh makes it a better option for whole-home power. Just remember, this extra storage capacity and output power comes with a pretty hefty price tag.
The Bluetti AC300:
Bluetti’s closest match for the DELTA Pro offers similar capacity but is bulkier and significantly less portable, making the DELTA Pro a more versatile option. The AC300 is basically just a big heavy box, where the DELTA Pro features wheels and a telescopic handle that makes it much easier to maneuver.
The Jackery 3000 Pro:
This newer model is comparable but also comes in at a higher price point. Given that they go toe-to-toe on specs, features, and performance, the DELTA Pro is just a more budget-friendly choice. There really isn’t enough there from Jackery to justify the added cost.
